Welcome to the Hastronahoeve.
The Hastrona Hoeve is a certified stud
farm and trade stable, where you can get advice on the right choice of
a stallion, for acquiring a foal, young sport horses, stallions, mares
geldings (broken in), breeding mares etc, for good prices.
My father Piet has been into horses since
1967. The mare HASTRONA gave the edge to start up a breeding line.
This line has been nown since 1896. The Hastrona Hoeve owes its name
to this mare.
In 1984 ZORTIN was acquired, and a
studfarm was started.
In 1987 Bustron was born (from the Hastrona line) and later approved by teh KWPN. The stallion was used for breeding. After that, the stallions LARNO, JUVENTUS, RIXTEL, JAZZ Z, OPAN, MURANO, ROYALITY, TINKY-WINKY, TADMUS and UPTOWN were on our station.
Currently, our farm is managed by PETER
van den BOGAARD.
I am involved in all of the stud farm: semen cllection, lab work, inseminations, birth care, raising, training of young horses, breaking in, trade and partner choice for teh mares.
